2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting this Website, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in a Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Our programmes are intended for adults, typically those aged 40 and above, though we welcome any eligible adult who wishes to engage thoughtfully with their finances.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this Website or enrol in a Service. You are welcome to contact us with any questions before proceeding.

3. Service Description

Wichai Trust offers financial education programmes for adults in or approaching midlife. Our programmes are educational in nature — they are designed to help participants understand personal finance concepts, not to provide regulated financial advice.

We currently offer three programmes:

  • The First Drawer — a three-session introduction covering budgeting, saving, and everyday Thai banking.
  • Everything in Its Place — a six-week course covering saving routines, funds, deposits, and forward planning.
  • The Whole Cabinet Programme — a ten-week programme covering pensions, healthcare, and longer-term retirement planning.

Services are delivered in Bangkok, Thailand. We reserve the right to deliver sessions in person, online, or in a hybrid format, and will communicate the format clearly at the time of enrolment. We may update or adjust programme content to ensure it remains current and relevant.

4. Enrolment and Participation

Enrolment in a programme is confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Places are limited, and submission of an enquiry does not guarantee a place.

You are responsible for attending sessions punctually and engaging with course materials. Missed sessions may not always be rescheduled, though we will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests where possible.

You agree to treat fellow participants and facilitators with courtesy and respect. We maintain a calm, supportive learning environment, and behaviour that disrupts this may result in removal from the programme without a refund.

Any materials, guides, or notebooks provided as part of a programme are for your personal use. Recorded sessions, where provided, are for your personal review only and may not be shared or republished.

5. Your Responsibilities

When using this Website or participating in a Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest information when submitting enquiries or enrolling.
  • Use the Website and all Content for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only.
  • Refrain from copying, distributing, or reproducing Content without our written permission.
  • Refrain from sharing personal financial details of other participants with third parties.
  • Not attempt to disrupt the Website or any sessions through technical interference.
  • Seek independent, licensed professional advice before making significant financial decisions — our programmes are educational, not advisory.

6. Intellectual Property

All Content on this Website and within our programmes — including written materials, worksheets, session recordings, guides, and planning notebooks — is owned by or licensed to Wichai Trust. All rights are reserved.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use Content for your own learning purposes during and after your enrolment. This licence does not permit you to reproduce, share, sell, or adapt the Content for any other purpose.

The Wichai Trust name, logo, and programme names are the property of Wichai Trust and may not be used without our written permission.

7. Payment and Refunds

All programme fees are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of a programme unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing.

We accept payment via the methods communicated during enrolment. Receipts will be issued upon request.

Cancellation by you: If you cancel your enrolment more than 14 days before a programme begins, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the programme begins are not eligible for a refund, though we will do our best to offer an alternative date where possible.

Cancellation by us: If we need to cancel or postpone a programme, we will notify you as early as possible and offer either a rescheduled place or a full refund.

8. Disclaimers

Our programmes are educational in nature. Nothing we share — whether in sessions, materials, or on this Website — constitutes regulated financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. We always recommend speaking with a licensed financial professional before making financial decisions.

This Website and its Content are provided as they are. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we cannot warrant that all information is complete, current, or free of errors. We may update Content at any time without notice.

Participation in our programmes does not guarantee any particular financial outcome. Results depend entirely on your own decisions and circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Wichai Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from your use of this Website or participation in a Service, including loss of income, financial loss, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant programme.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Wichai Trust, its facilitators, and staff from any claims, losses, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Website or Content, your breach of these Terms, or any financial decisions you make following participation in a programme.

11. Termination

You may withdraw from a programme at any time by notifying us in writing. Refund eligibility is governed by Section 7.

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme — without refund — if their behaviour disrupts other participants, violates these Terms, or compromises the respectful environment we maintain.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive termination of your enrolment or this Agreement.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

Before initiating formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] to allow us to resolve the matter informally. We will endeavour to respond and seek an amicable resolution within 30 days.

Your rights as a consumer under Thai consumer protection law are not affected by these Terms.

13. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wichai Trust for the relevant Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms on any occasion does not waive our right to enforce it on a future occasion.
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your enrolment or your rights under these Terms to another person without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a suitable third party in the event of a business restructure, with appropriate notice to you.
  • Notices: Formal notices to us should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to the address below.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our programmes, applicable law, or operational practices. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of this Website or participation in a Service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
