Why Wichai Trust
Learning that fits where you are — not where someone else thinks you should be
Most financial education is written for people in their twenties. Ours is built for the second half of working life, with all the complexity and accumulated questions that come with it.
Back to HomeWhat you gain
Six things Wichai Trust does differently
Expertise built in Thailand
Our team brings direct experience of Thai banking, Thai savings products, and the Thai regulatory landscape. Nothing is adapted from abroad and called local.
Structured like a cabinet
Each programme opens one drawer at a time — a clear, ordered sequence that builds understanding without overwhelming it. Participants know exactly where they are and where the course is going.
No products, no commissions
We sell education, nothing else. There is no financial incentive for us to recommend any particular fund, account, or product. Our interest is entirely in your understanding.
Sessions at a measured pace
We do not rush. Every session has time built in for questions and reflection. If something is unclear, we stay with it. Understanding matters more than covering ground quickly.
Written materials to keep
Every session produces something to take away — a printed summary, a worksheet, a planning sheet. The learning does not disappear when the session ends.
Small, steady groups
A maximum of twelve participants per group means everyone can speak, ask, and be heard. This is not a lecture hall — it is a conversation among people at a similar stage of life.
Expertise
Grounded in Thai financial life
Our lead instructor, Prayuth Wattana, spent two decades working within Thai banking before moving into education. The curriculum he developed draws on that direct experience — not on textbooks written for other markets.
- Content reviewed annually against current Thai regulations
- All examples drawn from Thai institutions and instruments
- Facilitated by adults who have navigated the same system
Kept in order
"Understanding comes before action. We open each topic slowly, check it is clear, and only then move to the next drawer."
— Prayuth Wattana, Founding Director
Support
A point of contact throughout
Our participant support coordinator follows up after each session and is available to answer questions between meetings. If something from last week's session has stayed on your mind, you do not have to wait until the next one.
- Named contact for each participant
- Midway check-in for six and ten-week programmes
- Open-door email and phone line during office hours
Value
Straightforward pricing, nothing hidden
Each programme is priced as a single, complete fee. There are no upgrades to purchase partway through, no required supplementary materials to buy, and no follow-on sales of financial products. What you see at the start is what you pay.
- The First Drawer — ฿4,200 complete
- Everything in Its Place — ฿6,900 complete
- The Whole Cabinet Programme — ฿10,000 complete
Included in every programme
- All printed materials and worksheets
- Planning notebook or folder
- Recorded sessions (where available)
- Access to support between sessions

What sets us apart
Distinctive features of the Wichai Trust approach
The "kept in order" summary
At the end of each topic, participants receive a brief written summary — what was covered, what it means for you, and what to consider next. This gives every session a clear, settled close before the next one begins.
A gentle index for finding your way back
Each course includes a simple indexed guide to all topics covered. If something from an earlier session becomes relevant weeks later — a conversation with a bank, a form to complete — participants can find the relevant section quickly.
An education-only commitment
Wichai Trust holds no financial licences, earns no referral fees, and sells no financial products. This is not standard practice — it is a deliberate decision to remove any possible conflict of interest from the learning environment.
A closing reflection session
The Whole Cabinet Programme ends with a dedicated reflection session — not another lesson, but a space to look back at what has been learned, identify remaining questions, and plan next steps with a licensed professional if needed.
